"My second Donostia product (of 11). As with the cod, the tin was hard to open. The pull tab didn't break off, but I was only able to get the lid halfway off. It wasn't budging at that point, and I didn't feel like making an oily mess by ripping the lid off, so I just poured the contents in a nice bowl. The mussels were good, but not great. They were nice-sized, but a few were somewhat mealy, and one still had a beard attached. Tasty nonetheless atop crackers + this time, I had a French loaf handy for some of the sauce."
