Nonpareil capers have met their match. Our Lilliput capers are tiny, tangy, and a top-notch topping for salads, pastas, and of course, bagels and lox. They pack a concentrated punch of flavor that belies their diminutive size.

Our Tiniest Product

"Capers often taste of little more than salt, but these are delicate, lightly tangy from the wine vinegar and would not need to be rinsed as some capers often do. These feel like a very special version of a commonplace staple." - J., who knows something small, can be mighty

Capers are the un-ripened flower bud of the capparis spinosa bush that grows wild across the Mediterranean, picked and preserved in a wine vinegar brine. With a lemony tang and floral tartness, you'll undoubtedly find yourself topping all sorts of dishes with these tiny morsels of tastiness. Go mad with experimentation.

Additional words about these Lilliput capers will be written here, by a generally well-regarded person. I wrote that sentence ages ago, and forgot about it, but I've just seen it again now. I'm going to leave it in, because it remains true.

First time trying

"We did our family’s Opakapaka with a capers & tomato beurre blanc recipe and we could absolutely taste a difference! Mahalo! Will buy again!!! 🤙"

Very special!

"The pictures do not accurately reflect the truly miniscule size of the capers that I have received. This is not a problem though. Their tiny size allows them to wonderfully distribute across a prepared tapa or through a dish without needing to chop. Capers often taste of little more than salt, but these are delicate, lightly tangy from the wine vinegar and would not need to be rinsed as some capers often do. These feel like a very special version of a commonplace staple."

Just the right kick!

"Lilliput Capers are a peppery delicious addition to anything your mind can think of! From omelette’s to pasta or any meat dish or salad. It is a versatile spice like unripe flower bud of the Capparis spinosa plant. It gives any dish a distinctive flavor and takes it to another level! And these Lilliput Capers are unlike any you can find in your normal grocery store. They are this gourmet cook’s delight!!!"

Roasted Lilliput capers with orzo !

"Slapped together some roasted Lilliput capers with orzo and ground pork sausage in an olive oil, garlic and lemon sauce. . . so simple yet complex!"

Best capers ever!

"This will be my third order. We love capers! We've tried all kinds and these are the most amazing. So much flavor in such a small bundle. Initially I was sad that we could only get the small size bottles. But they are so flavorful that I have found I use far fewer to a far better effect. So I no longer mind the bottle size, and I keep reordering! I fear a case is in our future, even for 2 people."
