Limited to 60 made, the first edition in our Donostia Foods Tinned Fish Dish series sold out quickly. Handcrafted stoneware to show off the exquisite contents of our tins (or to use as a valet tray (or to just be displayed and enjoyed)) will do that.

The first three fish design is hand-numbered to 60. And I've kept three of them for myself, because they're awesome. That's all we have of this first edition.

All dishes come in a white gift box with a hand stamped Donostia logo and green ribbon.

Each dish is slightly larger than a tin, so you can empty the contents of any directly and with ease, or use them however you please (rhyme).

About the artist: Susan Volk is a Chicago-based artist who works in oil paint, ceramic sculpture and mixed media. Beginning her academic career at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, she later attended the Art Institute of Chicago where she received a bachelor of fine art in painting and sculpture.
Her current work explores the themes of human nature, archetypes, and the sacred feminine, and has been featured in the 35th Annual Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society Designer Showcase House, the celebration of Women’s History Month in the Chicago Public Library System, displayed on billboard for Expose NOLA French Quarter/Jazz Festival in New Orleans, and at the 6th Annual Central Time Juried Ceramics Exhibition.
She is represented by Edward Montgomery Fine Art Gallery in Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA and Blue Sky Art Gallery in Santa Fe, NM.
Dish dimensions: approximately 5.5 inches by 4 inches. Hand washing recommended.
